Grottos, Hiking trails and Waterfalls

Ground tour to visit the land of waterfalls - Presidente Figueiredo – gentle walks along hiking trails, contemplation of the Amazonian biome of dry land - contemplation of two beautiful waterfalls immersed in the Amazon jungle - refreshing dip in the rapids near the waterfalls - regional lunch in the center of the city.

08h00 – Hotel pickup – the beginning of our full-day tour with the city of Presidente Figueiredo as our destination, located 125km from Manaus, the land of the waterfalls. The itinerary takes us down the BR-174 road which connects Manaus to Venezuela, to visit Iracema waterfall, a paradise scenery and a mandatory stop for amazon nature lovers. To get there, it is a two-step process, first by car through a muddy road and the second one is a hiking trail through steps and bridges across the woods giving access to the freshwater pool formed by the waterfall. Time to relax and enjoy nature with a refreshing dip to the waters of Figueiredo. During the hike, there is fauna and flora to be appreciated, all typical to the area and the Galo da Serra (Rupicola Rupicola).

As our day goes on, our next destination is the central area of the city, where a stop for lunch will take place, a chance to try the local cuisine in a cozy and air-conditioned restaurant. Visitation opportunity to the Urubuí Park, the main rapids of the city, located in the city center. After lunch, and with renewed energy, our itinerary continues with Sanctuary Waterfall as our next destination, surrounded by a beautiful landscape made up of several falls that accompany the flow of the waters, it is the ideal place to disconnect from the city and connect with the essence of the Amazon nature.

It is possible to go on a hiking trail which gives access to the waterfall and observe the rich biodiversity present in this region. By the end of the path, the reward is the natural pool, the perfect spot to enjoy the calm brought by the waters running through the forest. Return to Manaus and drop-off at the hotel.
